Digital production
Within my final year studying Media Production I took up digital production as one of my courses and the aim of the course was to create a functional and interactive platform that could be used as a multi-media platform used via an internet connected TV.
The media platform that you see below was created from the ground up, it started off with a log in screen, then from their the user and select movies and series as well as connect their social media to the platform. From here we go onto a series and on that page we can see all the little details the user would usually have to look up them selves, such as actors (with pictures) and trailers, we then follow onto an episode from the series where the user has the choice of purchasing, renting, saving and watch later buttons for the user to utilise. From here we go onto one of the actors from the series and we are able to see little details about the actor as well as past shows. Also from this page we continue to have the social media element, which I saw this as being important to the project as all media today is connected to social media in one form or another, so I saw this as a way to connect the user throughout the platforms journey. Continuing from here we then progress into more of the social media element as we go onto one of the users friends profiles and here we can see all the elements that you would be able to see if you were on any other social media platform (friends, option to send messages, music and films liked). Then the final page of the platforms Joanne is a music page that had been liked my the friend.
Throughout the platform it has interactive and functional buttons, from as the navigation bar seen at the top of each page down to the seeing an online/offline tag over the users friends pictures when you hover the mouse over their pictures.
